As a Social Media and Community Manager for Merge Mansion at Metacore, you together with the game team, can freely define the best way to utilize our own social media channels for creating engaging marketing content and building global communities – as long as it respects our company culture and finds a market fit. That calls for a highly proactive approach to handle tasks from developing and executing Merge Mansion’s community and social media strategy to acting as the point of contact to our key influencers and content creators, and working closely together with the marketing and development teams.

  • You will develop and execute Merge Mansion’s social media & community strategy to meet the needs of our players and help the game team to reach their goals

  • You will be the game’s primary representative and driving force for the creation and growth of communities that are safe, engaging and well moderated

  • You will work closely with your Player Experience counterpart to understand the player's reception of updates, events, and A/B tests and based on the feedback work together with the development team on backlog prioritisation

  • You will work with internal and external partners like influencers and other content creators as well as the marketing team to create and develop content for player touchpoints such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Twitch, and YouTube

  • You will create and curate high quality content and activities in all community platforms according to the game’s social media & community strategy, and track KPIs to see whether it works as planned


  • You have 4+ years’ experience in social media marketing and community management, and a passion for games and the communities surrounding them

  • You are highly creative in producing content, and keep up with the latest online phenomena and general discussions related to content production

  • You can address difficult situations within a community through conflict management and understand the general sentiment of a community

  • You speak English fluently and have proven copy and content creation skills, along with the ability to clearly communicate complex game ideas for players

  • You have expert insight into social media algorithms, user trends and platform evolutions to maximize your content’s impact

  • You are adept at utilising social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Reddit in a B2C environment

  • You have experience in social media marketing and tools used in social media management such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, and Buffer

  • You have worked with external suppliers, and know how to manage and brief agencies
