Marketing Lead, New Games

We are looking for a versatile Marketing Lead to drive the strategy and execution of our new games marketing initiatives. You will join the New Games team, conducting market research and concept testing, managing asset production across stores, UA, and key art, while closely collaborating with game teams and other internal stakeholders. With strong product marketing and leadership skills, you will play a key role in transforming early ideas into global successes in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a small but powerful team of professionals, enable focus, and uphold a culture where high care and high performance go hand in hand
- Drive early concept validation together with the team by conducting actionable market research, concept testing, and analysis to identify captivating marketing concepts for new games
- Managing the marketing production, producing key art, store assets, UA creatives, and everything required for early test launches, ensuring direction is clear and aligned with game artists
- Partner with our new game teams to proactively provide all marketing-related support in different stages of the product lifecycle, from early concepting to test launches and beyond
- Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders, such as the Merge Mansion marketing team, cinematics team, user acquisition, and data team
Requirements
- Experience from the game industry
- Great understanding of product marketing and user acquisition
- Knowledge of early-stage game development, market research, concept testing, and how a concept is brought to life together with game development
- Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize multiple demands at once from UA campaigns to product marketing
- Leadership and management experience and skills, to successfully lead and motivate the team
- Readiness to work in a changing environment, also driving that change
- Positive attitude and ability to take ownership and move things forward quickly
- Prior experience in managing and cooperating with external partners
