We are a mobile game company based in both Helsinki and Berlin, building a portfolio of hit games – starting with our first chart-topping game, Merge Mansion. Applications are now open for our trainee program, and we are offering an aspiring Associate Producer the chance to work on this hit game and the team of experts behind it.
Press Play by Metacore is for emerging talent who are eager to enter the mobile game industry. The program starts in September and offers you a 6-months trainee position, full-time and paid, as part of our game team. You’ll work alongside brilliant and experienced colleagues who are eager to share their knowledge and also learn from your insights.

Responsibilities
As an Associate Producer, you get to be on the frontline of managing game teams to create exciting new features and tools for Merge Mansion. You will learn the role of an Associate Producer with the guidance of a mentor and get support from your team every step of the way!
In practice, this means (at least) the following:
Supporting the Merge Mansion feature teams in managing the roadmap schedules, resources, and tasks
Shadowing, running, and participating in key meetings with designated teams
Helping to coordinate the teams’ workload and elevate the quality of Merge Mansion through maintaining project documentation, priorities, and task tracking
Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time
Requirements
In this role you will get an all-round introduction to the Production function, and see the ins and outs of a mobile game business. Here are some of the key skills and experience you should already have when joining Metacore as an Associate Producer:
Genuine interest in mobile games, and familiarity with popular titles and trends
Strong organizational skills and excitement for improving processes
Top-notch communication and interpersonal skills
A knack for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Basic understanding of project management methods and tools
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards solving problems
Proficiency in English, as it’s our company language
Ability to live and work in the Helsinki region, mainly onsite
Previous experience in game development or project management would be nice but not mandatory
