What does a day at work for a Press Play trainee at Metacore look like?

Do I get to work with Merge Mansion?
Yes, you will get to work on Merge Mansion and a first-row seat to behind the scene action.
When and how will I know if I’m selected?
This recruitment is handled by our partner aTalent and they will keep everyone who applies posted on the status of their application through email or a phone call.
What sort of compensation will I get?
You will get a monthly salary and benefits such as lunch, commuting allowances, sports, wellbeing and culture perks on top.
I can’t work full-time. Can I work part-time or flexible hours?
We carefully designed this training program to give an all-round understanding of the mobile gaming business as well as in-depth, role-specific experience, over a 6-month period. And we believe that to make the best of this opportunity you must be able to take part full-time.
Can I work remotely?
Working together as part of our experienced team and structured mentoring from your future colleagues make up the backbone of this training program. To enable this collaborative learning experience you must have the ability to live and work in Finland, mainly onsite.
I don’t live in Finland. Can I still apply?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer relocation support or sponsorship for visa applications for this position. This means, to apply for this trainee program you must be able to live and work in Finland by the starting date of the program, 2nd September 2024.
Is there an age limit to who can apply for the program?
You have to be 18 years or older to apply for this trainee program. (If you’re not yet 18 and reading this — we are in awe of your enthusiasm and hope to cross paths again in a few years time!)
Can I apply in Finnish or Swedish?
As our company language is English, your application too must be submitted in English.
I can’t join the program this time. Will there be another one?
Yes, this is the third Press Play Trainee Program we are launching, and we believe there will be many more to come at Metacore.
Can I continue to work at Metacore after the trainee program ends?
After completing the trainee program, we’d be delighted to have you join us long-term if we find a position that fits your profile. However, this is something we can’t guarantee, but sure hope for.
