Our company’s mission is to entertain hundreds of millions of people for decades. Although we already entertain 50M+ players worldwide and have grown into a team of 200+ game industry professionals in less than three years, we’re only getting started. That’s where we hope you come in: to help us become even better at providing high-quality people operations services to all Metacoreans. In this very strategic role, you will work both independently and together with your fellow People Partners to support all things people-related and create a top-notch employee experience at Metacore. Our People team is made up of 8 professionals, each focusing on different people-related topics. Meanwhile, talent acquisition is coordinated by our amazing TA team.

Responsibilities

People Partner plays a key role in supporting all things people-related to enable us to create a great employee experience. In practice, this means (at least) the following:

  • Working closely with our supervisors and acting as a coach and partner, going beyond the 'support function' to take on a more strategic role

  • Supporting all things people-related, including performance management and coaching, employee relations, change management, and organizational development

  • Collaborating closely with your two fellow People Partners to create a top-notch employee experience

  • Overseeing around 100 employees by supporting supervisors in delivering high-quality people operation services to them

  • Handling 1-2 personal, company-level development projects (such as talent development or performance management processes)

Requirements

Every role is eventually shaped to match our unique passions, backgrounds and strengths. Here are some of the key skills and experience you should already have when joining Metacore as a People Partner:

  • A background in scale-ups and extensive experience working closely with managers

  • Good understanding of Finnish employment legislation

  • A hands-on approach to work coupled with a can-do attitude

  • Excellent English, both writing and speaking

  • Resilience and ability to operate in complex, quickly changing environment

  • Ability and a keen interest to work independently and proactively, making people-related decisions together with our supervisors

In addition to these, it would be nice but not mandatory for you to have these as well:

  • Experience in organization development and planning in a hyper growth context
