Relocating to Berlin with Metacore
We offer hands-on support across every key step of your move, helping you and your family transition smoothly, get settled fast, and start enjoying both your new role and life in Berlin.

Immigration process
Our third party relocation service partner will help you and your family through your immigration process. These services include assistance with applying for a German work and residence permit.

Arrival and getting to accommodation
Metacore pays for your flights and two checked luggages per traveler.
We will also cover the transportation costs from the airport to your first accommodation in Berlin.

Temporary accommodation for the first 4 months
You are also entitled to housing arranged by Metacore for the first four months after your arrival in Berlin.

Settling in Berlin
After you arrive in Berlin, we’ll continue to support you with settling into Berlin through certain relocation assistance services. These services include, for example, support with opening a bank account and managing local tax and social security matters.
We know you probably want to stay connected to your friends and family from the get-go. On your first day at Metacore, we will provide you with a phone and a phone plan.

Finding long-term accommodation
Finding a permanent flat in Berlin can be a bit of a hassle: the housing market is competitive, and good places tend to go fast. But don’t worry, our third party relocation service partner can also support you with finding long-term accommodation in Berlin.

Healthcare
In Germany, health insurance is mandatory for all residents and everyone has the right to choose their own insurer, be it public/state or private. Learning German language
While English is widely spoken, a little German will get you far, especially when dealing with things related to your housing and bureaucracy. This is why we’ll also support you in learning German so you can feel even more at home in your new city. Metacore sponsors German language classes to those based in the Berlin office, who are interested in learning the local language. There are options for group classes on all language levels!
