Art Producer

We are looking for a talented Art Producer to focus on planning internal and outsourced art assets, and take ownership of the art production process from conception to completion. You’ll be joining Merge Mansion’s Central Art Team and working closely with the team’s Art Leads, Producers, and Product managers from the Feature teams, ensuring the creative vision is realized within budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the Art Leads and development team to establish the artistic direction and requirements for projects
- Creating detailed project plans and schedules for art asset production, ensuring that milestones are met
- Coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the art production process
- Conducting quality checks to maintain consistency and adherence to project requirements, ensuring that tickets contain accurate and sufficient information, including deadlines
- Managing project resources effectively to optimize cost-efficiency by evaluating resource availability, assigning tasks based on artists' strengths and skills, and assessing outsourcing requirements
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in mobile art production to enhance project quality and efficiency
- Providing mentorship and guidance to art team members as needed, including running retrospectives to identify and address bottlenecks and improve performance issues
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar Art Producer role and a background in the game industry
- Strong project management skills with a focus on planning, organizing, and monitoring art production processes
- Deep knowledge of production tools (currently in the team we use Linear, Notion, Miro and Google Sheets)
- Knowledge of art production pipelines and software used in the mobile gaming industry
- Good understanding of mobile platforms and their specific art requirements
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to liaise with internal teams
- Attention to detail and a strong creative eye for evaluating art quality and consistency
- Ability to prioritize and carry out tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in leading teams and collaboration skills to foster a productive and creative work environment
- Adaptability and flexibility to address unexpected challenges and changes in project scope
