A great start – Metacore’s first year in Berlin

A year ago, we set out on an exciting journey—opening our first location outside of Helsinki, right in the heart of Berlin. Looking back, we are very happy with how this first year has unfolded.

We are extremely thankful for all the support we have received in Berlin from different stakeholders, but also all the internal work our teams have contributed to setting the Berlin office up.

Finding our place as an active contributor in the local community

One of the most rewarding aspects of expanding to Berlin has been becoming part of its vibrant game industry community. From industry events to local meetups, the community in Berlin has welcomed us with open arms. We’ve been inspired by the collaborations and innovation around us, from events like Games Ground to the newly launched IGDA Berlin chapter.

We’re eager to continue learning from the ecosystem, and also contributing to it through initiatives such as our Core Talks events, which provide a space for industry experts to share knowledge and network.

Marking Metacore’s long-term commitment and investment in Berlin

In 2025 and beyond, we want to continue growing the team, work even closer with the local community, sharing knowledge and building stronger connections within the game and tech ecosystem.
