Marketing Lead plays a key role in building and improving world class performance marketing across all channels at Metacore to unlock new and creative ways to expand Merge Mansion’s audience, worldwide. In practice, this means (at least) the following:
Defining and owning marketing strategy and underlying initiatives for Merge Mansion, and helping shape the standards for future games, in partnership with Metacore’s game teams and creative agency partners
Overseeing campaign ideation and creation, content development, and brand partnerships
Driving creative development across all channels such as, digital, outdoor, TV and other formats as applicable in partnership with the marketing art team and game teams
Differentiating the approach for messaging to fit different key markets
Ensuring all Merge Mansion marketing lives up to the high quality set by Metacore and the expectations of the passionate, and dedicated players
Defining marketing metrics, set clear, attainable objectives, and analyze results to track performance
Working closely with the central Performance Marketing team to align marketing efforts and ensure the best possible outcome for the Metacore business
Carrying out relevant brand and consumer research to study, adjust and strengthen the desired Merge Mansion brand image and positioning over time
Managing and developing our external partnerships with the agencies, such as creative, media and digital publishers, to bring Merge Mansion’s strategic vision to life

Strong ability to set realistic yet ambitious goals and assess brand performance both qualitatively and quantitatively
A leader who has experience building and mentoring high performance teams in an environment that encourages autonomy, innovation and creativity
History of attracting, retaining and developing strong marketing talent. You rigorously hold yourself and others accountable for achieving high levels of performance, and convey a sense of mission and drive issues to closure
Experience working collaboratively across teams - internal and external - in the creation, evaluation and roll-out of coordinated, impactful communications and campaigns
Proven ability of identifying and leveraging consumer trends and user demographics to direct the development of a brand and drive its global growth
A strong understanding of the North American market and the Millennial generation of consumers would be ideal
Analytical with a strong commercial mindset - you have proven project management and prioritization skills with the ability to turn ambiguity into clarity
You love doing what’s never been done before in an environment that is built on trust and team collaboration
Open-minded, hands-on, down to earth, curious leader who is still eager to “always be learning”
Knowledge of online, social media and consumer business, as well as a broad interest in mass-media entertainment like games, movies, TV, literature, comics, etc is advantageous
