We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to enhance the management and optimization of our AWS platform. Your expertise will ensure seamless operations, cost-efficiency, and continuous improvement, keeping us at the forefront of the latest cloud technologies and best practices

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and managing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS
  • Implementing and managing AWS Organizations, ensuring best practices in governance and account management
  • Developing and enforcing AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and roles to maintain secure access controls
  • Collaborating with development, platform, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services
  • Monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure to ensure performance, cost-efficiency, and security
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure issues
  • Staying updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices to ensure continuous improvement of the cloud environment
  • Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions to automate related workflows and deployments

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in similar role
  • Hands-on knowledge of AWS services and infrastructure
  • Skilled in IAC tooling, e.g. Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Good understanding of AWS Organizations and governance
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS IAM policies and role management
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub and GitHub Actions
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and collaboration skills

In addition to these, it would be nice but not mandatory for you to have some of these as well:

  • In-depth familiarity with container technologies, particularly Kubernetes
  • Experience with other cloud hypervisors
